Franklin was created in November of 2022

This project involved a lot of firsts for me- it was my first time doing any sort of embrodiary and bead work, and only the third stuffed animal I’ve made.

He stands at about 2ft tall, and has polyfil-beads in his butt so he can sit on his own.

He is based on the yara-ma-yha-who from Australian folklore, and I have taken influence from Australian Aboriginal art and tattoos for his “tattoo” design.
